Global Education – An Exceptional Learning Experience

The world today demands skilled and qualified professionals. Only those with the proper knowledge and proficiency in the related field they are getting into, can survive in this highly competitive world. As a consequence, good quality education has become extremely essential for aspiring youths who dream of becoming the leaders of tomorrow. The world is going global and it requires excellent insight into the chosen profession by a student. Literacy has always been an important factor for national growth. However, the advent of globalization has been a positive reinforcement and inquisitive learners now aspire to acquire the maximum education possible. This is not only because of the countless number of opportunities that open up but also because of the great amount of awareness that is spread through education alone.

If we could represent the demographics of the world into a village of 100 people, what would it look like? If we gave that global village access to 161 billion gigabytes of data, what would they do with it? If six billion gigabytes of data were shared in email in 2006, what would it contain? Most important of all, how is this incredible rate of exponential change be reflected in the education of children today? Where is the education really coming from, in schools, at home or on-line?
